Same scale, both numbers

How much is actually in there?

Knowing an ingredient is in the bottle tells you almost nothing. We put the amount on the label next to the amount the studies used, on one scale, and let you read the gap.

Dose against the studied amount

Ingredient A label: 1,500 mg
studied
Ingredient B label: not disclosed
studied

Illustration. The bar is what the label states, the line is what the research tested. When a label hides the amount inside a blend, the bar is the most we can honestly draw.

Joint supplements: what the research actually shows

Glucosamine, chondroitin, collagen and turmeric are in almost every joint formula. What each has been studied for, at what dose, and what to check on a label before you pay.

How we work

01

The label

Reported as the manufacturer's claim, never as established fact.

02

The research

Every study comes with the dose it tested, so the comparison is yours to make.

03

The purchase

Price, guarantee, return window, and who the seller actually is.

What we are not. We are not doctors, dietitians, or pharmacists, and no licensed professional reviews this content. We do not test products in a laboratory. When we describe what is in a bottle, we are reporting what the manufacturer states. Where a product has a weakness we can document — an undisclosed formula, a refund policy that contradicts the sales page, a dose below what studies used — we say so on the same page that carries the link.
